With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Louise Ross of Trophy Club, Texas, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Camerer and Margery D. Camerer. She is survived by: her family, Bill Ross (Karen K.), Karen D. Ross and Tim Abbey (Tina); and her grandchildren, Madi, Zoe, Lexi and William.

“The short messages just sent were comments on texts from past Timberline teachers when they heard of Joyce’s passing today. I sent them but they weren’t all mine. Here’s a few more: Oh no! We were just talking about her and wondering where she ended up. She was the teacher I was under when I student taught 2nd grade in 1994 at Timberline. She was so kind and patient with me. I followed her to Grapevine Elementary and would sub for her when I graduated college before I got a job. I am so sorry”

“Janie Dominguez found this online today in GV Obituary. What a great teacher & friend Joyce was to all of us. Yes, she was. Thank you so much for letting me know❤️ I have looked everywhere for Joyce with no luck. I was sure she had moved from TX. I loved working with her and having her as a friend! Joyce was my lead teacher when i first started Timberline. She was a dedicated teacher and always wiling to help me. Worked with her and she taught J "how to spell " -cute story!”

“Joyce showed me how to use the computer for my very first time. Oh, Joyce was wonderful! When I wondered if I should hold Scott back a year as a July boy she gave me wonderful advice so I never regretted doing it. And he loved having her. Oh no!
