He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Lawrence and Willie Lee Lawrence; his siblings, Evelyn Normalee Lawrence, Jack Francis Lawrence, Dorothy June Lawrence and Betty Jean Perkins (Guy); and his son Mark David Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Berna Dean Lawrence; his daughters, Lauri Elizabeth Sloan (Cary) and Jennifer Leigh Luna (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Jacob Lawrence Sloan (Madison), Jessica Leigh Sloan, Josie Elizabeth Luna and Jamie Leigh Luna.
