He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Blackwell and Effie Rushton; and his daughter Naomi Taylor Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McCrerey Blackwell; his children, Steven Blackwell Sr. (Cindy) of Yorktown and Tammie Ellis of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Steven Blackwell Jr (Melanie), Dylan Billot of Yorktown, Johnathan Ellis of Elkhart, Elizabeth Blackwell, Savannah Billot and Emelyn Gentile of Yorktown; and his great grandchild Steven Blackwell III of Yorktown. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
