He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Blanchette and Gladys Blanchette; his daughter Casey Denise Blanchette; and his sister Susan Dupuy. He is survived by: his daughters, Brandi Allums (Frank) and Angela Breeden (Allen); his grandchildren, Kaleb Allums (Sydney), Kylie Allums, Maigan Braus and Bryce Breeden; and his siblings, Kenneth Blanchette (Lucy), Charles Blanchette Jr. (Nelwyn), Judy Smith (Tommy) and Lynette Waldron (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
