With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelda Carol Allen of Trinity, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nelda Carol Allen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Norris and Pearl Norris (Ward); her husband J. D. Allen; her daughter Mary Ann Allen Murphy; and her brother David Norris.

She is survived by: her son John Wesley Allen (Trisha) of Trinity; her grandchildren, Scott Murphy (Mandy) of Kingwood, John Allen (Gloria) of Conroe, Kaitlyn Allen of College Station and Keri Murphy; her great grandchild Owen Wade Allen; her sister Helen Marks (Paul) of Houston; her son-in-law Don Murphy of Humble; her niece Paula Levron (Teddy) of Livingston; and her nephew Karl Marks of Canyon Lake. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations in Nelda's memory to the Chita Cemetery Association, 217 Cutter Dr. Trinity, TX 75862.
