She was predeceased by: her parents, Harriet Collier Shields and Edwin Fraley; her stepfather James Shields; and her sister Cindy Shields Rukab. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Bubba Hirsch of Trinity; her daughter Holly Hirsch of San Marcos; her sister Carol Shields of Woodville; and her pets, Max and Gertie.
