He was predeceased by: his parents, William Trero and Susan Trero; his sons, Gary and Billy Trero; his siblings, Martha Jo Hayden, Mary Rose Browning and William "Billy" Trero; and his great grandchild Isabella Trero.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; and his children, Ramona Isabell (David), Barbara Ann Kolasky, Robert Trero (Tracy), Peggy Trero Goetz (Steve), Stacy Trero, Tony Trero (Jennifer), David Trero (Amy), Shawn Carlisle (Vena), Scott Carlisle, Rebecca McManus (Ralph) and Jack Carlisle. He is also survived by twenty seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
