She is survived by: her granddaughter Wendy Cooper; her children, Melvin McConnell, Kenneth Cooper (Lavonne), Shirley Barnes and Roslyn Hickman; and her sisters-in-law, Jane McConnell, Sarah McConnell and Annie McConnell. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
