It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Barnett of Trinity, Texas, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Barnett and Ezra Fidellis Barnett (Sheppard); his wife Rose Barnett (Rockaford); and his siblings, Ruth Morgan, Lieuvenia Berry and James "Buddy" Barnett.
He is survived by: his brother Clayton Barnett; his sister-in-law Pearl of Highlands, Texas; his sisters, Beulah Newport (Scott) and Shirley Headley (Sherrard); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Barnett of Baytown, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
