He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Jackson and Virginia Sams Davis; and his brother Cleate Davis. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mary Davis; his children, Reggie Davis (Monica), Steve Davis (Theresa), Randy Davis (Sheron), Jerry Davis (Brooke) and Scott Davis; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Lori), Brandon (Leanna), Kayla (Justin), Jordan (Keith), Josh (Kristin), Jessica, Virginia, Harley, Nichole, Ashton and Ryder; his sister Claudette Messer; and his sister-in-law Carol Davis. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
He loved to be outdoors fishing on the lake and in the woods enjoying the sport of hunting. in lieu of flowers, the family requests that.
