He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff William and Sula Irene Parker (Starnes); his son Johnny Lynn Parker; his grandson James Ray Parker; and his siblings, Herbert Parker, Sybil Parker and Charles Parker.

He is survived by: his wife May Louise Parker (Hinson); his daughters, Vickie Paschall (George) and Sandra Walker (Jerry); his grandchildren, Johnny Lynn Parker, Wendy Paschall, Kacie Welte (Jason), Coby Paschall (Haley), Robert Gannaway (Stormy) and Jason Gannaway (Kimberly); and his sister Jeanette Howard. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
