He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Henry and Mary Ellen Brooks (McCauley); his brother Jesse Brooks; his son Travis Brooks; and his brother-in-law Pete Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Taliesin Brooks (Tara) and Tracey Winters; his grandson Jack Taliesin Brooks, II; and his siblings, Chuck Burk, Tammy Miller and Marta Smith. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
