He is survived by: his wife Gina Heffernan of Lake Striker; his mother Betty Heffernan of Galveston; his children, Dale Thompson (Beverly) of Lake Striker and Steven Thompson (Heather) of The Woodlands; his son-in-law Joseph Corbin of League City; his siblings, Brian Heffernan of Galveston, Cailin Heffernan (Henry Aronson), Laurie Cioppa of San Antonio and Gigi Heffernan of Galveston; and his grandchildren, Alicia, Ash, Jennifer, Riley and Mason. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
