He is survived by: his siblings, Charles McFarland (Sandra), Lennie McFarland of Trinity, Jewell Redden (Jerry) of Trinity and Sadie Ruiz (Alfonzo) of Crockett; and his close friend Mikel Barksdale (Susie) of Trinity. He is also survived by seven nephews; five nieces.
