He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Kester and Bertha Kester (Sarley); his sons, Andrew S. Kester and Nicholas Lee Kester; and his siblings, Floyd W. Kester and Mary Lee Smart.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Timothy Kester (Karen), Laurie Jo Kester and Michael E. Kester (Debora); and his daughter-in-law Suzanne Kester. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
