With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Smith (Trinity, Texas), born in Glenmora, Louisiana, who passed away on February 18, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Smith and Mattie Lee Davis Smith; his brother Kenneth Smith; his nephew Darrell Smith; and his brother-in-law Jimmie Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Faye Smith; his sister Virginia Brown; his sister-in-law Florine Smith; his children, Pam Kaufmann (David, Karen Hoveland), Sandy Lee and Brian Smith (Monette); his grandchildren, Kelly Grimes, Kristy Kaufmann, Julie Bugg, Sarah Lee, Cody Kaufmann, Corbin Smith and Demi Smith; and his great grandchildren, Cade Kaufmann, Chloe Kaufmann, Cora Kaufmann, Charlotte Kaufmann, Hannah Grimes and Cohen Villarreal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Trinity Pines Baptist Church Building Fund in Edward's memory.
