With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donnie Fred West Sr. of Trinity, Texas, who passed away on October 31, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert West and Hester West (Davis); his former wife Kathleen West; his son Donnie Fred West, Jr.; and his sisters, Maxine Elizabeth West and Lillian Estella West.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn West; his children, Janie Deloris "Sugar" Hardin (Dennis) of Covington, Mitchell Lee West (Marion) of New Caney, Darrel Slack of Austin and Carrie Slack of Austin, Texas; and his brother Billy George West of Monticello, Arkansas.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
