He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Dauer and Ila Mae Dauer (Peaches); and his brother Lonnie Royce Shelby. He is survived by: his wife Carol Shelby; his children, Susan Luttrell (Robert) and Scott Shelby; his granddaughters, Julie Sheffler and Whitney Shelby; and his great grandchildren, Annmarie Sheffler and Jackson Sheffler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
