He was predeceased by : his parents, Carmelo Rojas and Salud Rojas; his brother Cesario Rojas; his daughter Angelica Hernandez; and his grandson Oscar Rojas.

He is survived by : his wife Rosalinda Rojas; and his children, Eduardo Rojas, Melissa Rojas, Dionisio Rojas, Jr. (Elvia), Jenny Rojas (Erick Aguirre), Becky Segovia (Francisco), Candy Rojas and Dalila Rojas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home - Trinity (203 San Jacinto St, Trinity, TX 75862). A rosary was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A requiem service was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (401 Prospect Dr, Trinity, TX 75862).
