Amanda Marie Knight Obituary
Amanda Marie Knight passed away in Trinity, Texas on February 5, 2021. She was born August 20, 1993 in Conroe, Texas to William "Billy" and Charlsie (Slayton) Knight. She is preceded in death by her father Billy Knight; maternal grandmother Virginia Slayton; paternal grandparents John and Marie Brandt; and her father and mother-in-law David and Holly Caldwell.
Amanda is survived by her loving husband Austin Caldwell; mother Charlsie Knight; sister Tana Knight; grandfather Charles Slayton; special lifelong friend Karina Giron; and special friends' Jeanetta (Netters) Wars and Savanna Barton. She most recently worked at Camp Cullen as a cook (which was her passion) and was loved by all of her coworkers.
Amanda was truly special. Her mother remembers her for her smile, laugh and for the beautiful soul she was. She was the greatest joy of her life. Her husband considered her his best friend and hero. They met in 2010 and spent 11 beautiful years together, grew up together and spent every waking moment together. He will love her forever and always.
They spent their leisure time doing what they loved, hiking and exploring in nature. Her friends remember her for her quirky and funny personality, but most of all for her compassionate, forgiving, and caring nature. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
