It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Corlene Story of Trinidad, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Brown and Hazel Lorene Brown; and her son Wayne "Amos" Story. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Story; her son William "Andy" Story; her daughter-in-law Mary Story; her grandchildren, Whitney Story, Wade Story, Wesley Story and Macy Story; her granddaughter-in-law Skyler Story; her siblings, Len Brown and Rhonda Elwell; and her brother-in-law John Elwell. She is also survived by her family, friends.
The Dallas chapter of the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children presented Sandy with the Margaret Cone award for her contribution to the profession.
