He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Rutledge and Stella Rutledge; his wife Virginia Ruth Rutledge; and his daughters, Regina Reno and Kathy Pearson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eloise Daniels and James Rutledge; and his children, Sandra Ragsdale (Donald), Vickie Welborn (Robert), Andrea Wilson (Troy), Michael Rutledge (Vicky), Carol Loftice (Mark), Lisa Rutledge and Christy Palovich (Chad). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wise Funeral Home (219 W Sam Rayburn Dr, Bonham, TX 75418). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Van Winkle Cemetery (3597 FM 1377, Princeton, TX 75407).
