It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Flint of Trent, Texas, born in Sweetwater, Texas, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Flint and Carrie Dee Flint (Clark); and his sister Gladys Alvarez. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Flint of Trent; his children, Tamara Martinez (Harry) of Roscoe and Todd Flint (Angela) of Abilene; his grandchildren, Katherine Jackson, Wesley Martinez, Samantha Rodriguez, Jessica Robirds and Jonathan Flint; and his siblings, Diane Flint Ellison of Hobbs, Sammy A. Flint of Sweetwater, Jerry W. Flint of Puyallup and Mary E. Weatherford of Henderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

“We are so sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you all during the days ahead. Although Jimmy was my uncle, I regret not knowing him. Mama has always shared stories with us over the years so that helped but, only visiting Sweetwater a few times over the years, I vaguely remember him as an uncle. I never remember him visiting us here in East Texas but what I DO KNOW is that my Mama loved him SO very much and only had kind things to say about him. I'm thankful for the memories we have...”
