She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Layne Wells; her son Jeffery Wells; her parents, L. L. "Pete" and Lillie Mae Carroll (Miller); and her siblings, Dessie Carroll (Burkhalter) and James Carroll.
She is survived by: her son Billy Wells (Lesa); her grandson Brad Wells (Tiffany); her stepgreat-grandsons, Dylon and Dusty; and her daughter-in-law Mandy Wells.
