She was predeceased by: her parents, L. S. Pate and Ena Pate; her sisters, Dorthy Smidovec and Velma Bartlett; and her son Delbert Burkett.
She is survived by: her husband Travis Gene Burkett; her sister Rosie Requardt; and her grandchildren, Shawn, Chris, Tasha and Jason.
