He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Newhouse Burton and Bryan J. Burton (Elizabeth Palmer Burton); his sister Betty Jean Pinson; his daughter Barbara Ann Burton; his grandson Nicholas Bryan Burton; and his great grandchild Andrew Lillywhite.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Darden and Margaret Humble; his children, Thomas C. Burton, William Bryan Burton, Ellen C. Murphy, Phillip D. Burton, Elizabeth Arcia (Betsy), Robert R. Burton and Mary L. McDaniel; and his grandchildren, Scarlett Snider, Savannah Lillywhite, Steven Burton, Justin Murphy, David Murphy, Philip Burton, Mary Taylor, Jennifer Buehring, Brittney Bui, Dawn Burton, Chris Burton, Sara Burton, Meagan McDaniel, Jacob McDaniel, Walker Snider, Waylon Snider, Lillian Snider, Ethan Lillywhite, Lincoln Lillywhite, Katelyn Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Chloe Gehman, Cole Gehman, Jordyn Buehring, Jaxson Buehring, Raelyn Burton, Makayla Ranzy, Amaya Ranzy and Numerous.
