She was predeceased by: her husband Preston Skidmore; her parents, William Marshall and Retta Marshall; and her siblings, Zora, Opal, Willie Lee, Maudie Belle, Gwendolyn, Hoyt, Archie, Doyle and Rueben.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lagean Meaderis (Larry) of Magnolia and Linda Duffendack (Jerry) of Conroe; and her grandchildren, Rodney Frost (Suellen), Terri Farrar (Greg), Melissa Brock (Jimmie) and Lisa Sims (Robert). She is also survived by Six great-grandsons, two great-grandaughters, three great- great- grand sons and five great- great grand daughters in addition to numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and many friends.
