Mary Ellen Gargus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Gargus (Tomball, Texas), born in Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 29, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tolen and Alistine Tolen; her husband Robert M. Gargus; her brothers, Billy Joe Tolen and Robert Tolen Sr.; her sister-in-law Doris Jean Tolen; and her niece Deanne T. Young.
She is survived by: her nieces, Delynda T. Mehlhop (Andrew) of Texas and Dorlene T. Wilson of North Carolina; her nephew Robert Tolen, Jr. of New Jersey; and her stepchildren, Colleen Juras (Paul) of North Carolina, Karen Ware of North Carolina, Keith Gargus of Costa Rica, Kevin Gargus of Missouri and John Gargus of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
