She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Ruth and Newell Peter McCarney; her husband George R. Cathcart; her sons, Stephen and Jason; her daughter-in-law Somer; her grandchildren, Preston, Jay, Hunter, Laurel, Boston and Skii'Lynne; and her great grandchildren, Ronin and Phoenix. She was also cherished by friends and extended family.
Memorials in memory of Kathy may be given to the Music Ministry of Klein United Methodist Church.
