He is survived by: his wife Ren-Elise Nelson; his sons, Emory Ann Simoneaux, Oliver Joseph Simoneaux and Derek James Woodard; his parents, Melvin Eugene Simoneaux, Jr. and Jeannine Ann Simoneaux; his nephew Luke Eugene Simoneaux; his sister-in-law Jennifer Rae Simoneaux; his goddaughter Paris Mikaela Guidry; and his friends, Hank, June, Trappy and Mel B.
