He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ledell Allee and Jimmie Vivien Taylor; and his brothers, Kenny, Jimmy, Jerry and Doug.

He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Carpenter and Donald Allee; his daughters, Erica Carey and Alicia Savage; his stepson Zachary Reneau; and his grandchildren, Alayna, Dylan and Ivy.
