She was predeceased by: her mother Alice "Juanita" Armstrong; her husband Jim Wade; and her brother Joe Armstrong. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Wade (Gwen), Kim Garcia (late Jerry Herrera), Karen Clement (Chip) and Kelly Vitek (Dean); her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson (Tyler), Cody Clement (Katelyn), Brasly Vitek, Zachary Garcia (Briana Juarez) and Blythe Vitek; her great grandchildren, Ava Noelle Garcia and Calvin Maxwell Johnson; her close friends, Kay Forsythe, Sybil Pringle, Carolyn Miller (Jenny) and Sharon Leyendecker; and her caregivers, Jacque, Monica, Elaine and Jennifer.
