We bid farewell to Edna Fern Stauffer-Thornton of Tomball, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2024 at the age of 97. Edna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Neeper and Elizabeth Neeper (Clark); her former husband Charles Stauffer; her husband Fritz Thornton; her daughters, Carolyn Stauffer and Melinda Stauffer; and her siblings, Ralph Neeper (Jesse), Paul Neeper (Doris), Harold Neeper (Marie), Jack Neeper (Betty), Bert Wright (Warren), Evelyn "Bunny" Bowman (Ron) and Bill Neeper (Ruth).
She is survived by: her daughters, Liz Mullins (Sonny) of Celina and Melissa Desuk (Joe) of Tomball, TX.; her grandchildren, Mitch Mullins, Shane Mullins, Kirk Mullins (Vicki), Brandon Mullins (Kelly), Nikki Mullins, Skylar Desuk and Katelyn Desuk; and her great grandchildren, Kailyn Brewer, Brayden Mullins, Nathan Mullins, Gage Mullins, Ian Mullins, Mckayla Mullins, Tobey Mullins, Taylor Mullins, Aubree Mullins, Brooklyn Johnson, Stephen Abbey, Jordan Abbey, Marissa Abbey, Jaden Abbey and Piper Depweg.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home (901 Myers Rd, Celina, OH 45822). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in loving memory of her Brothers who served in WWII.
