He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney A. Sylvester and Dolly Lee Sylvester (Johnson); his wife Billie Jean Sylvester; and his sons, Mark Whitfield Sylvester and Barney Lee Sylvester.
He is survived by: his son Jeffry Scott Sylvester (Sharon) of Tomball; his grandchildren, Heather Roper (David), Patrick Maguire, Charlie Maguire and Kate Peterson (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Landon Roper, Heidi Peterson and Juliette Peterson. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
