She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoine Gomez and Petra Gomez (Martinez-Hildalgo). She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Cook; her cousin Vincent (Linda Paragone); her stepdaughter Andrea; her stepgrandchildren, Dylan and Phoenix; and also, Wayne and Janice DuBois.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Justin Martyr Church (13350 Ashford Point Dr, Houston, TX 77082). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at 11274 Majestic Dr, Montgomery, TX 77316. Please RSVP at soniasidle@icloud. com.
