She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wally Thornton and Shirley Thornton (Wessenberg); her husband Martin J. Willis; and her siblings, Shirley May Knowles and Milton Stephen Thornton.

She is survived by: her sons, James Willis (Patricia Willis) and Gregory Willis (Alicia Willis); her stepdaughters, Terri Martin (Tony Martin) and Vickie Hiser (Larry Hiser); her grandchildren, Dustin Willis (Lindsay Willis), Kasey Williams (Jacob Williams), David Sanchez III (Melissa Sanchez), Emily Hogden (Jennings Hogden), Erin Willis and Andrew Willis; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Williams, Kenley Williams, Joshua Forsberg, Vanessa Sanchez, Riley Forsberg, David Sanchez IV and Hadley Williams.
