He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey J. Keener and Bonnie Spindle Keener; his wife Davlyn Whitten Keener; his son Gregory Keener; and his sisters, Linda Jeannette Ramsey and Frankie May Cordray.
He is survived by: his daughter Michele L. Keener of New York City; his grandchildren, Ryan Patrick Keener (Ashley Keener) and Kylie Allysa Forte (Aaron Forte) of Wharton, Texas; his daughter-in-law Brenda Keener of Wharton, Texas; his great grandchildren, Allison Fojtik, Elizabeth Keener and Indigo Forte; and his siblings, Betty June Childers of Houston, Texas and Michael Wayne Keener (Brenda) of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
