She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Wright and Ione Wright; her husband Sam Smerud Sr.; and her siblings, Larry Gerrits, Gerri Gerrits and Ginny Wright (Sam Smerud Sr.).
She is survived by: her children, Stacy Kall, Sam Smerud and Jennifer Smerud; and her sister Rose Mary Kiesling.
