He is survived by: his wife Sherry Thornburg; his children, Jerry Carl Hawkins (Jennifer), Marie Finger (Jimmy), Cheri Rena Reynolds (Michael), Jennifer Smitherman, Laura Montell (David) and Cody Thornburg; and his brothers, Johnny Thornburg (Sheila), Tom Thornburg (Mildred) and Troy Thornburg (Tammy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
