He is survived by: his wife Valta Pickett of Tioga, TX; and his children, Kevin Powers (Deedra) of Pilot Point, TX and Cynthia Broyles (Rick) of Pilot Point, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
