He is survived by: his sons, Dalton Cole Payne and Wade Michael Payne; his parents, John Robert and Bonnie Gale Payne Sr. (Skidmore); his brother John R. Payne Jr.; his nephew John Robert Payne III; and his nieces, Rileigh Christine Payne and Daylie Renee Payne. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
