She was predeceased by: her parents, Florene Burrows and Oris J. "Cookie" Brinson. She is survived by: her children, Andrea McElroy (Cameron) and Brinson Stewart (July); her grandchildren, Ethan McElroy, Taylor Stewart and Treyson Stewart; and the father of her children Herbert Stewart (Marilyn).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Timpson Fire Department, P O Box 960, Timpson, Texas 75975.
