It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Gary of Timpson, Texas, born in Panola, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Richard and Odessa Keating (Burks); and her husband Mervin Gary. She is survived by: her sister Nette Els; her children, Kathy Richard, Barbara Crouch (Melvin), Richard Gary (Sherry) and Mark Gary (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Amanda George, Sean Crouch, Zachary Richard, Heather Bryan, Krystal Zwerneman, Toni Goss, Katie Kelley and Travis Gary. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, Jo Ann has requested that you plant a flowering or fruit tree in your yard or donate to the Timpson Public Library.
