She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Brittain; and her parents, Cecil Watson and Etoula Watson. She is survived by: her children, Eric Brittain (Bethany) and Shona Hale; her grandchildren, Heather Ritter (Stephen), Amanda Brittain, Megan Pavlock (Thomas) and Dayna Hale; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Eileen Ritter, Shaun Brent Ritter, Mason James Hicks, Aiva Leigh Pavlock, Thomas Wayne Pavlock, Jr., Ashton Kane Hale and Camden Kase Hale.
