He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy D. Fausett and Dorthy Fausett (Gilchrist); his wife Janis; and his brother-in-law Sonny Tippett. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Fausett (Finley) and Matt Wright (April); his grandchildren, Jackson Fausett, Brayden Dannecker and Madison Wright; and his sister Beverly Tippett.
