Charles A. Mercer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles A. Mercer of Timpson, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mercer and Nancy Connor Mercer; his wife JoAnn Young Mercer; his sister Laura Mercer Elkins; and his granddaughter Cassandra Mercer.
He is survived by: his children, Kyle Mercer (Nancy) of Houston, Mike Mercer (Linda) of Ft. Worth and Tammy Farmer (Jason) of Timpson; his grandchildren, Joshua Mercer, Sabrina Parent, Ralph Pender, Jr., Kristen Mercer and Jason Mercer; and his great grandchildren, Britteny Mercer, Brandon Day, Lucien Ochoa, Autumn Lockwood, Sydney Day, Micah Day, Kira Pender, Dannika Andrepont, Luna Mercer, Marshall Mercer and Hudson Mercer.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home (113 W Holly St, Woodville, TX 75979). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Pedigo Cemetery.
