He was predeceased by: his parents, Delfina Garza (Lopez) and Marcello, Sr. Garza; his siblings, Domingo Garza, Sr., Marcello Garza, Jr. and Mary Gonzales; and his great grandchild Lark Marie Cogswell.
He is survived by: his wife Eloisa H. Garza; his children, Arturo Garza, Jr. (Shelley Garza) of Stockdale, Oscar Garza (Heather Garza) of Tilden, Wally Garza (Erma Garza) of Tilden, Nora Cooper (Jason Cooper) of Brady, Esther Garza of Tilden, Delfina Bregman (Justin Bregman) of Tilden and Martha Shallcross (Scott Shallcross) of Tilden; his grandchildren, Chris Garza (Lyneigh), Ethan Garza, Holly Bregman, Evelyn Garza, Gabriel Garza, Christian Garza, Rhea Garza, Quest Garza, Tyana Garza, Adrian Dillard, Julio Dillard (Sydney), Katie Dillard, Mario Dillard and Nathan Dillard (Sara); and his siblings, Guillermo Garza, Frank Garza, Sr., Lisa Hasette and Margaret Stacy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
