It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen Magin of Throckmorton, Texas, born in Olney, Texas, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn L. Magin and Billie Joyce Magin (Darden); his brother Johnny Magin; his great-niece Memphis Magin; and his great-nephew Kreek Magin.
He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Carter and Glennda Ingram (Shan); his nephews, Hank Carter, Dan Carter, Glenn Ingram (Kristin), Clay Ingram (Renee), Mich Magin (Kelly) and Matt Magin (Brittany); and also Suzanne Magin. He is also survived by several cousins, great nephews and nieces as well as many many friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Jimmy's name to the Kreek Magin Memorial Endowed Scholarship; Tarleton State University, Box T-0260, Stephenville, TX 76402 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
