He is survived by: his spouse Lucia Gutierrez; his children, Ysaias Muñiz Jr, Joe Muñiz, Roberto Muñiz of Corpus Christi, Miguel Muñiz of George West, Eloisa Gomez (Thomas) of Three Rivers, Paula Cantu (Sam) of Corpus Christi and Alvina DeLeon (Michael) of Cibolo; and his siblings, Ramon Muñiz Jr of Victoria, Johnny Muñiz of Victoria, Amelia Muñiz and Leticia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
