She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Burchett and Nancy Elizabeth Burchett (Coleman); and her brother Michael Burchett. She is survived by: her husband Ernest L. Whitson of Three Rivers; her son Daniel Edward Whitson of Port Lavaca; and her grandsons, Patrick Wayne Whitson of North Carolina and Brandon Broderick Whitson of Virginia.
